Sports actions are quick – too quick to fully comprehend. Some are so fast that they happen in the blink of an eye. It is difficult to appreciate the elegance of such movements as they happen, but photography freezes these moments to allow us to see the details of these athletic performances. This photo essay invites you to study the intensity of sports action at a leisurely pace, allowing for a closer inspection of the athletes’ performances.
